The GFWC-NH Dover Area Women’s Club is a group of local women who volunteer their time, strengths and spirits to make a difference in local communities and in the lives of others. We are members of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs International and General Federation of Women’s Clubs New Hampshire. Our regular meetings are the second Wednesday of every month or we get together at other times just to socialize. What is Marsy’s Law for New Hampshire?
Marsy’s Law for NH is seeking to elevate key rights of crime victims into the state’s Constitution to ensure that victims have rights that are equal, in stature, to the constitutional rights of the accused and convicted.
Events
Adopt a Trail
The City of Dover and the Dover Community Trail Advisory Committee invite organizations, companies, and general trail lovers to participate in the new Adopt-a-Trail Section program. Volunteer adopters help maintain the beauty and function of the Dover Community Trail by removing litter, trimming overgrowth, and reporting maintenance concerns to the city. Adopters may be individuals, organizations, or civic groups and will be recognized with signage along the trail.
Dover Children's Home Fundraiser
We are workiing with the Dover Children's Home to raise money by collecting used clothing. Savers Thrift Store in Newington purchases these goods from nonprofit suppliers, the same nonprofits our communities depend on.
Please bring us any old clothes that you wish to donate.

We are a non-profit organization sowing the seeds of friendship and service in our community.
Do you want to make friends and make a difference in our community with group of enthusiastic community-minded women? Join us. We need your expertise and your ideas. Proceeds from any of our fundraisers go directly back to our local communities.
New members are welcome any time. Membership is open to any woman who is interested in the promotion of fellowship among women through community service and social activities. Annual dues are $30 a year. Our meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month at the DF Richard Room at Wentworth Hospital.
